Established in 1990, Wagtech International has built a strong global reputation for
providing scientists, engineers and technicians engaged in research, education and industry a complete project managed service worldwide, supplying good quality equipment with installation, commissioning, product training and after sales service and support.
Operating from a UK head-office, Wagtech is able to provide unrivalled service to customers in all parts of the world. We achieve this through a well established network of Wagtech regional offices, strategic global stocking centers and local distributors and sales agents. This allows us to supply large numbers of kits, reagents and consumables within hours of an order being placed.
In addition, through our links with regional centers of excellence, universities and technical partners, and coupled with a commitment to continuous product development, Wagtech is constantly investing in research and development and new ideas, looking for affordable portable water quality testing technologies, striving to provide lower costs and innovative water quality testing solutions.
Wagtech's manufacturing is UK based, allowing quality control of the highest order, ensuring that all the products supplied meet the exacting requirements our customers have come to expect. All orders are dispatched from the Wagtech UK warehouse where ISO 9001 accredited systems ensure quick and accurate delivery to all parts of the world.
Wagtech also operates a specialist Projects and Tenders Division from Leicestershire (UK). This highly skilled team focuses on the successful bidding and implementation of project work all over the world. Often working in collaboration with local Wagtech offices, Wagtech Projects handles the supply, installation and commissioning of major equipment requirements in vocational training institutes, workshops, industrial training schools and colleges. The projects division works solely on large scale competitive tenders released by the European Union, World Bank and similar donors. Primarily involved in the supply of vocational equipment, Wagtech Projects Division provides a complete turnkey service.
We encourage partnerships between governments, donors, the UN, NGOs, the private sector and civil society. By manufacturing locally in some countries and investing in the markets to which we sell we are stimulating and empowering local communities, promoting sustainable development. Wagtech are the world’s leading supplier of water testing equipment to the United Nations and development community. Our major customers include UNICEF, WHO, UNESCO, UNDP, FAO and UNHCR. We hold Long Term Arrangments with UNICEF as well as many of the major NGOs and our kits are in widespread use all over the world.
A key factor in the success Wagtech has developed over the years, is the additional pre- and post-sale support in the form of installation, commissioning and training. A frequent component of our supply program is the ability to provide local, in-country training on the water test kits, directly to the end-user. We have a number of highly skilled staff who travel all over the world to carry out training in diverse locations such as Darfur in Sudan, Bande Aceh in Indonesia and Pyongyang in North Korea.
