Wagtech have successsfully implemented another mobile laboratory project, this time in Sourthern Iraq.

Contract Delivered
Wagtech International has recently completed the delivery of a USD $2.5 Million contract to supply two technical training centers in Southern Iraq, involving a wide range of equipment for use in teaching various Engineering courses.

Training Programme
Wagtech have also completed a major training programme at Baghdad Water Authority involving instructing Laboratory technicians in Water Quality Testing procedures.

Recent Years
In the past Wagtech have also supplied 13 mobile testing Laboratories to 3 major cities in Northern Iraq in a total project worth just USD $2 million. The Project was originally conceived as part of a UN/Habitat project to increase the capacity of Quality Control testing equipment for use in Highways Construction and concrete structures in the localities of Erbil, Dohuk and Sulehmaniya. Separate mobile testing laboratories for Concrete, Cement, Soil and Asphalt were initially delivered and commissioned in Erbil in April 2004 - and then delivered to Dohuk and Sulehmaniya respectively. Following delivery to site Wagtech embarked upon an extensive 3 week training programme for civil engineers and material testing technicians in the use of the equipment, maintenance / troubleshooting techniques and up to date.
