2008-2009 Overview

This is a selected list of 2009 projects to show Wagtech’s ability to successfully complete a diverse range of projects in addition to our routine equipment supply business

Romanian Ministry of Education, €7m

Working with the Romanian Ministry of Education under the technical and vocational education and training system (TVET), Wagtech will supply, install and then train on a wide range of equipment in schools throughout the country.

Ghana Cocoa Board (GCB), £1m+

As part of a series of projects worth over £5m, Wagtech were responsible for the supply, installation and training of over £1m worth of Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry equipment.

Water Resources Management Authority, Kenya, £700.000+

Wagtech provided a range of its core Water and Environmental products to support the customer with their water quality monitoring programmes across Kenya.

Ghana Cocoa Board (GCB), £1.5m

£1.5m project for the supply of Cocoa Bean Grading Machines.

Ghana Cocoa Board (GCB), £1m+

Wagtech again supported the operations of this great customer with £1m+ of laboratory equipment. The project involved the supply and installation of the equipment, backed by an on-site training program carried out by Wagtech.

United Nations, Iraq, 0.3m

In co-operation with the Ministry of Water Resources in Iraq, Wagtech supplied the UNESCO backed project with £0.3m of surveying and environmental monitoring equipment.

United Nations, Iraq, £0.4m

As part of the re-development and repair of the Sumarra Shrine, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) commissioned Wagtech to supply, install and train on a range of specialist surveying instruments.

Ministry of Fisheries & Marine Resources, Sierra Leone, £0.4m

Wagtech supplied the customer with £400.000 of general laboratory equipment & chemicals.

Government of Zambia, (ECZ), £0.6m

A £0.6m project whereby Wagtech were responsible for the supply & installation of Environmental Monitoring Equipment to the Environmental Council of Zambia (ECZ). The wide range of Wagtech’s Water and Environmental line provided the client with the full range of monitoring and testing field equipment to support the organisations in-situ monitoring programmes.

Kumasi Polytechnic, Ghana, £0.1m

£100.000 project for the supply of laboratory equipment for multi-disciplinary departments.

Office des Culture Industrieeles du Rwanda (OCIR), Rwanda, £0.25m

A £0.25m project for the supply and installation of Laboratory Equipment.

Institut de Sciences Agronomiques du Rwanda (ISAR), Rwanda, £0.1m

A £100.000+ project for the supply & installation of InVitro and Molecular Biology Equipment.

Mobile Laboratories in Sudan, £0.4m

A £0.4m project for the supply a range of Wagtech’s Mobile Laboratories. The client, a large company involved in the Western Sudan Resources Project (WSRMP), provided their specifications for a four wheel drive mobile vetererinary laboratory. Wagtech, through its established partnership with Land Rover, were able to customise the vehicles to meet the specification, providing the client with fully self-sufficient portable laboratories.

Government of Uganda, Ministry of Internal Affairs, £0.2m

Working through a Government Ministry in the country, Wagtech supplied nearly a quarter of a million pounds worth of laboratory equipment to the Mbale Regional Laboratory.
